About the Club

Holwell Sports Bowls Club plays at the sports ground on Welby Road in Asfordby Hill. Established in 1917, it has one outdoor lawn green with six rinks and a clubhouse with a bar, kitchen, dining area and changing rooms. New and experienced players can take part in social bowls, friendly games and competitive play, with coaches available to help newcomers. Club, county and national competitions form part of its programme, alongside social events and informal club days. Visitors enter through the main sports-club car park and follow the club's directions to the bowls entrance. Contact the secretary for current membership and visiting arrangements.
