About the Club

Houghton Town Bowling Club offers outdoor lawn bowls in Houghton-le-Spring, with opportunities for social play and local league competition. New bowlers can ask about introductory roll-ups, equipment and help with getting started. The club welcomes visitors interested in trying the sport, and its public group carries updates and messages from members. A clubhouse provides a place to meet and socialise alongside the game. Contact the club to check current membership arrangements, opening times, green availability and opportunities to visit. The outdoor playing programme is seasonal, so confirm a suitable session before travelling.
