About the Club

Hovingham Bowls Club was founded in 1933 and plays on the village green behind Hovingham Village Hall in North Yorkshire. It welcomes new and experienced bowlers from Hovingham and the surrounding area, with social competitions and inter-village league bowls during the outdoor season. Beginners can arrange a taster session, receive help from experienced players and borrow club bowls. The club provides opportunities for both casual social play and competitive bowling. Enquiries can be made to club secretary John Jefferson.
