About the Club

Jarrow West End Bowling Club re-formed as a mixed club in 2017 and plays at Jarrow West Park. It shares two six-rink grass greens and facilities with the Association of Jarrow Community Bowling Clubs. The outdoor season runs from April to September, with opportunities for practice, friendly games, league bowls and club competitions. Beginners can borrow bowls and other equipment, and flat shoes are required. Shared facilities include seating, changing areas, an accessible toilet and a fully fitted kitchen. Enter the park at Park Road and Sussex Street, and contact the club to confirm current membership and visiting arrangements.
