About the Club

Lanchester Bowling Club was founded in 1982 and welcomes men and women of all abilities to its outdoor grass green in County Durham. Members can enjoy social play, club competitions and league matches, including North West Durham and South West Durham Veterans fixtures. The outdoor season runs from late April to the end of September. Beginners can borrow club bowls and learn alongside experienced members; flat-soled shoes are required. Contact the secretary to arrange an introduction and confirm current membership, visitor access and session times. The green is beside The Woodlands, north of Deanery View.
