Lowestoft Railway Bowls Club

Lowestoft Railway Bowls Club offers year-round bowling at Carlton Road, with a six-rink outdoor green and a four-rink indoor green. Founded in 1939, it welcomes new members and players of all ages for social and competitive bowls. Members take part in local leagues and wider competitions, with roll-ups and turn-up-and-play sessions offering less formal ways to enjoy the game. The indoor rinks are used through winter and remain available in summer. The club is incorporated within Carlton Road Sports and Social Club, where members can meet in the bar after bowling.
