About the Club

Malton Bowls Club plays outdoor lawn bowls at Malton Rackets Club on Old Maltongate, close to the town centre. The bowls club began in 1882 and moved to its present East Mount site in 1944. It welcomes experienced players and beginners, with Thursday club nights, internal competitions and summer league bowling. The club has its own bowling green and pavilion, while members can also use the shared sports clubhouse with changing rooms, showers and a licensed bar. Enquiries to the bowls secretary can be made through the contact form on the club website. The outdoor club is separate from Ryedale Indoor Bowls Club in Norton.
