Merton Bowls Club

Merton Bowling Club was founded in 1909 and plays on an outdoor grass green at Joseph Hood Recreation Ground in Martin Way. The mixed club welcomes beginners and experienced bowlers for informal games, internal competitions and local league matches. Qualified coaching and club bowls help newcomers try the game before buying their own equipment. The clubhouse has changing and bar areas, with ramp access, designated disabled parking and level access to the green. The club also works with local schools to introduce younger players to bowls. General enquiries can be made through the published club telephone or email.
