About the Club

New Romney Bowls Club has two outdoor greens, one grass and one artificial. The club has a bar, lounge and dining space, and provides wheelchair access to its all-weather green.

Records show that the game of bowls was played in New Romney as long ago as 1587. This tradition is maintained by the Club at the facilities in Sussex Road. These include two greens, one grass and one artificial all weather, a clubhouse with bar, lounge and dining area.
