Newick Bowls Club

Newick Bowls Club was founded in 1911 and plays on a six-rink outdoor green at Marbles Road. The club welcomes beginners and experienced players for informal practice, social roll-ups, friendly matches, local leagues and club, county and national competitions. Qualified coaches help newcomers learn the game. The pavilion has a covered seating area, catering facilities and a licensed bar, and hosts relaxed short mat bowling during winter. Social activities include quizzes, bingo, race nights and club meals. Touring sides are welcome. Contact the secretary to arrange a visit. Parking is in surrounding streets, with use of the nearby health centre car park limited to the times specified by the club.
