Manage this club?Plymouth Sir Francis Drake Bowling Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities to its own green in Whiteford Road, Mannamead. Founded in 1907, the club moved from Plymouth Hoe to its present site in 1922. Members enjoy friendly and competitive bowls through male, female and mixed teams, as well as social events. The clubhouse includes a bar, changing rooms, kitchen and a conservatory overlooking the green. Newcomers can arrange a free taster, receive coaching and borrow bowls for practice. The club also welcomes visiting touring teams.
