Manage this club?Prittlewell Bowls & Croquet Club is based in Priory Park, Southend-on-Sea. Founded as a bowls club in 1928, it added a croquet section in 2025 and welcomes people of all ages and abilities. Outdoor bowling includes social roll-ups, club competitions and league matches, with free coaching available for newcomers. During winter, members can continue playing short mat bowls inside the clubhouse, which has two mats and indoor leagues. A licensed bar provides space to relax after games, and the croquet lawn offers another way to enjoy the club. Contact Christine Fidgeon for bowls enquiries and introductory visits.
