About the Club

Putney Town Bowling Club has welcomed members and visitors since 1914 and combines lawn bowls with a year-round social clubhouse near Putney Lower Common. New and experienced bowlers are welcome, with free coaching available and family membership options. Its single outdoor green provides six rinks, with a seated viewing gallery and separate changing rooms. The licensed clubhouse offers a bar, snacks and meals, while the social programme includes live entertainment and regular gatherings. There is also an outdoor family seating area and free parking within the grounds. The entrance is at the end of Commondale, off Lower Richmond Road. Bus routes 22 and 265 serve the area, and Barnes station is around half a mile away.
