Sandown Bowling Club

Sandown Bowling Club plays on its outdoor grass green in Sandham Gardens, where the club has been based since 1926. Its clubhouse, opened in 2016, includes a bar, kitchen, changing rooms and an accessible toilet. Short mat bowls takes place in the clubhouse during winter. Members can enjoy informal roll-ups, club competitions, county leagues and friendly matches with visiting touring sides. Qualified Level 2 coaches support players learning the game. Full, junior and social memberships are available, and visitors are welcome. The club car park is accessed from Fort Street; visitors must register their vehicle on arrival.
