Shaftesbury Bowling Club

Shaftesbury Bowling Club was formed in 1914 and plays on a full-size six-rink outdoor grass green on Bleke Street. Set within award-winning gardens, the club welcomes visiting teams and people who would like to try bowls. Qualified coaches can introduce newcomers to the game by appointment, with bowls and suitable flat shoes available to borrow. The clubhouse includes a bar, kitchen, changing rooms and toilets, with private parking for members and visiting bowlers. Members can take part in internal competitions, inter-club leagues and friendly fixtures. Contact the club for current availability and visiting arrangements.
