Southbourne Bowls Club

Founded in 1920, Southbourne Bowls Club is based beside the Southbourne Social Club on New Road near Emsworth. The mixed club has a six-rink outdoor all-weather green, with social winter bowling by its Polar Bears group and an affiliated indoor short mat section. Members can play friendly fixtures, roll-ups, club competitions and local leagues, with opportunities to enter county and national competitions. Free taster sessions can be arranged throughout the year. Full and first-year associate bowls membership normally require Social Club membership, while the winter bowling scheme offers a separate option. Contact the bowls club directly for current arrangements and introductory sessions.
