About the Club

Southminster Bowling Club welcomes players to King George V Playing Field on Station Road. Formed in 1931, the club has a six-rink outdoor grass green and a clubhouse with changing rooms, a kitchen and bar. Summer bowling includes friendly matches, leagues, club competitions and informal roll-ups, with players ranging from beginners to county representatives. In the closed season, short mat bowls, bingo and Sunday lunches provide further opportunities to get together. Social membership is also available for those who want to enjoy club events without playing.
