About the Club

Southwater Bowls Club was founded in 1990 and plays outdoors beside The Ghyll on Pevensey Road. Qualified coaches support members, while introductory sessions provide equipment for newcomers wearing flat-soled shoes. Members can practise when the green is available, join internal competitions and play friendly matches and local leagues. The club also has a short mat section meeting in the Lardner Room at the neighbouring Ghyll, with social sessions, league matches and friendlies.
