Southwick Bowls Club

Southwick Bowling Club plays on the northern outdoor green at Southwick Recreation Ground, reached from Croft Avenue. Established in 1910, the mixed club welcomes bowlers of different ages and abilities. Its programme includes friendly fixtures, internal and external competitions and league bowls, with men playing in the Brighton and Hove District League and a separate ladies' league programme. Newcomers can try the sport with equipment provided and guidance from experienced bowlers, followed by a chance to meet members over refreshments. Winter friendly matches take place at separate indoor clubs. Contact the secretary for current membership and taster arrangements.
