St Francis Bowls Club

St Francis Bowls Club plays behind the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath, with the former St Francis Hospital buildings overlooking the green. Membership is open to the general public. The club's history traces its roots to a hospital staff bowls section formed in 1948; its present six-rink green opened in 1987. New and experienced players can enjoy informal roll-ups, friendly fixtures, internal competitions and the Mid Sussex League during the April-to-September season. The club has its own rink-side clubhouse, and members can also use the separate St Francis Sports and Social Club facilities. Contact the club for membership and visiting information.
