The Downsman Bowls Club

The Downsman Bowls Club offers outdoor lawn bowls and short-mat bowls at West Green Playing Fields in Crawley. New and experienced bowlers are welcome, with coaches available to help players get started or improve their technique. Beginners can use club bowls and need only bring flat shoes. During the outdoor season, Monday club nights and informal roll-ups provide opportunities to meet members and practise on the grass green. The short-mat programme includes friendly games and internal competitions, adding further ways to take part. The venue has disabled access. Contact the club before a first visit to confirm current playing arrangements.
