About the Club

Watford Bowls Club plays in Cassiobury Park on a six-rink outdoor grass green. The club began in 1912 as Upton House Bowling Club, adopted the Watford name in 1922 and moved to its present site in 1924. Also known locally as Watford Cassio, it is listed in the Watford and District Bowling Association. Its clubhouse includes a bar, kitchen, spacious dining area and changing rooms, with space for social functions. Beginners and more experienced bowlers can receive coaching, and informal roll-ups offer a way to try the game and meet members. Contact the secretary about current arrangements.
