Outdoor lawn bowling runs from spring to September, with local league teams, friendly matches and social events. Regular afternoon roll-ups welcome beginners as well as experienced players, and spare bowls are available for people trying the game. The club also offers affiliated short-mat sessions in the sports centre throughout the year. Its present outdoor green opened in 1982, continuing the town’s long connection with bowling beside Loch Neaton.
