About the Club

Willington Quay Bowling Club was founded in 1933 and plays at Howdon Park, just south of Howdon Metro Station in North Tyneside. The outdoor season normally runs from early April to early September. The club welcomes new members who want either league competition or a casual game with friends and family. Beginners can borrow equipment and receive help from club members; flat shoes are required on the green. Saturday afternoon jumbles are a regular part of club life.
