Alex Marshall MBE has been named as one of Team Scotland’s Flagbearers for tomorrow night’s Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony.
Team Scotland’s most successful athlete of all time will carry the Saltire into the OVO Hydro alongside judo star Sarah Adlington, ahead of a record-equalling eighth Commonwealth Games appearance.
A fitting honour for one of Scotland’s greatest-ever athletes. Congratulations, Alex! 👏
