Abbie Harris reflects on Scotland captaincy and welcoming girls into bowls

Scotland U18 captain Abbie Harris has reflected on leadership and the importance of a welcoming club environment in a new Bowls Scotland interview.

The Ralston bowler, who began playing at five, was also part of Scotland’s U25 women’s British International Series-winning squad this season.

In the feature for Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week, Harris discusses the support and role models that helped her progress, and how clubs can make younger players feel included and give them opportunities to develop.
