Australia announces Jackaroos and Para Jackaroos squads for 2027

Bowls Australia has announced its open, para and feeder squads for 2027 as the national programme builds towards the World Bowls Championships.

Dylan Fisher returns to the open squad for the first time since 2015, while Brad Pavey earns his first call-up. Lisa Phillips joins the women’s squad following Kristina van Nierop’s retirement.

Fisher and Pavey replace Nick Cahill and Aaron Teys, with Teys taking a one-year sabbatical from international duties.

The Para Jackaroos welcome Simone Smith, Scott Baus and Chris Randell, while Cooper Whitestyles moves up from the Emerging Squad. Scott Jones, Stacy Hipwell and Debra Moxon join the visually impaired contingent.

The announcement also sets out the emerging squads and state-based academy selections.
