Scotland’s Jason Banks delighted the home fans with a winning start on debut, while New Zealand’s Selina Goddard celebrated her birthday in style with victory alongside Katelyn Inch. Defending champions also began their campaigns as the Glasgow 2026 bowls competition got underway.
