Ed Morris reaches Hong Kong quarter-finals after England opening-day wins

Ed Morris reached the Hong Kong Classic men’s singles quarter-finals after three wins on the opening day, Bowls England reports.

Emily Kernick, Sophie Tolchard, Dominic McVittie and Morris all won their opening matches on 7 November. Kernick and Morris progressed through the second round, before Morris added a third-round victory to set up a Sunday quarter-final against Scotland.

The singles competition concludes on Sunday 8 November before pairs play starts on Monday 9 November.
