Justin Drew appointed Bowls Australia General Manager High Performance

Bowls Australia has appointed Justin Drew as its new General Manager High Performance, commencing in November 2026.

Drew brings more than 20 years of experience in elite sport. As Triathlon Australia’s National Performance Director from 2017 to 2023, he oversaw Olympic and Paralympic programmes through the Tokyo Games and Birmingham 2022. He also previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Baseball Australia.

His new role covers the strategic direction and delivery of Bowls Australia’s integrated programme for open and para players, including development pathways, coaching and performance support ahead of the 2027 World Bowls Championships.
