Meet the Player – Wayne Rittmuller
Bowls South Africa is proud to introduce Wayne Rittmuller, who will once again proudly represent South Africa at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Wayne is no stranger to the international stage, having consistently represented South Africa with distinction over the years. His wealth of experience, calm under pressure, and competitive spirit have made him one of the country’s most accomplished bowlers.
His international achievements include:
2022 – Represented South Africa at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
2023 – Represented South Africa at the World Bowls Championships on the Gold Coast, Australia.
2023 – Represented South Africa at the World Indoor Championships in Warilla, Australia.
2026 – Selected to represent South Africa at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Wayne’s continued selection at the highest level is a testament to his dedication, consistency, and passion for the sport. His experience will be a tremendous asset to Team South Africa as they compete against the world’s best.
