Hong Kong’s Tony Cheung defeated Ireland’s Stephen Kirkwood in round two of the Hong Kong Classic singles on 7 November.
The Irish Bowls Federation reports that Kirkwood lost the opening set 5-7 before drawing the second 6-6, ending his singles campaign.
Kirkwood will team up with Shane Leonard when the pairs competition begins on Monday 9 November.
